Our newest research project is application modularity through the use of the OGI specification. To accomplish this end we are currently working/experimenting with porting TAS to OSGi. The main thought process is that this will simplify expandability and modularity. Not that is has anything to do (no not at all) with the fact that someone else has written as system to handle the complexities of dynamic classloading!
