QuiltMaker  -  Goals

There are several goals and objectives that we set out to achive with this project.

Primary Goal:

  • Write an application for mobal computing devices.

Secondary Goal:

  • Explore development of J2ME (Java 2 Mobal Edition) applications and mobal application stacks which utilize java.

 

Additional Objectives:

  • Showcase the capabilities of the java platform.
  • Showcase various technical techniques. Including: scrolling image selection carousel controls and dynamic image maniupulation to support composit image construction within the UI.
  • Demonstrate the seamless integration capabilities of smartphone applications with web based technologies.
  • Assess current networking capabilities of mobal devices as it relates to use of web based technologies.
