Blog and Commentary

Tech talk and comments

While solid rock is not really intended to be a rambling editorial on life events, there are various topics that from time to time we would like to divulge upon. This page is the landing pad into current as well as backlogged blog entries. Initially the intention is to do brief posts on technical matters that may provide value to others. Additionally we will longer term also provide webinar versions of some of these posts.

Today i'm getting started on the "new image" of the solid rock "web presence". Ooo. Ahhh. Arguably when I started the last page system it was borrowed from an older version of a different site instead of build up clean. This new sight is starting out from scratch and making use of CSS in efforts to "declutter" from older web format standards that our previous site was built with.

Once I get the bare bones of the main navigation back up and running my intention is to put up a blog or two on executing client/server computing and dealing with error handling. Get asked tones of questions about error cases. And quite frankly it gets tiring of answer the question again and again. This will also start as a good jumping point to put up the code and instructions for the webinar applet that ive been working on here and there. We'll till next time -- ta ta for now!
